In Color came to The Wiltern on September 23rd on a bill with wilt and Mothica opening and Jutes headlining, which made for a full night of great music. In Color is a hardworking touring band, with their current road cycle made up of headlining half the venues, and half opening for bands like Jutes and The Maine.
The crowd was ready to sing along when the band dived into favorites like “Headlights,” “Marionette,” and “High.” They treated the LA crowd to a new never before played track called “Good Side,” with lead singer Matt Hastings saying, “We want to play this new unreleased track ‘Good Side,’ is that okay?” It was totally okay.
The band is is made up of old friends Hastings on vocals, Holden Clontz on bass, Val Hoyt on guitar, and Miles Leaderman on drums. They come from Nashville and have been performing since 2024, touring steadily and gaining fans at every stop. Their sound is great, it’s catchy and singable, but also a little guitar-fuzzy with some introspective lyrics, which is a great sweet spot for a pop-rock band. And clearly their fans agree.
Their tour continues alongside The Maine, and all the latest news and info can be found at www.incolorofficial.com and @incolorincolor
