On May 27th, night two of Feng’s Hollywood Roxy shows had the sold out crowd buzzing with anticipation, many of whom were there for the second night in a row to recreate the energy from the first, and they got what they came for.
British born/LA-transplant underground rapper Feng played around twenty songs from his debut album Weekend Rockstar and his 2025 release What The Feng, doubling up on a few of them when the mood in the room peaked and fans demanded he do them again. The show was about fifty minutes long with no opener and no encore, but for the quick time he spent onstage everybody was rapt, and there were no dull moments.
“Metamorphosis,” Teenage Famous,” and “Princess” were big crowd pleasers, and much of the hour was spent with the young crowd bouncing up and down holding phones and recording his every move. The last song of the night, “XOXO” was the biggest hit, and even though a sign on the wall said “You stage dive you go home,” Feng invited everyone up onto the stage to dance with him and suddenly it was a big party with everyone celebrating right next to Feng and having the time of their lives.
The Weekend Rockstar tour continues for the next few weeks in North America and then heads to Europe. Check out all the latest at @fengeveryday.
