October 21, 2025 – San Jose Civic – San Jose, CA, USA

On the night of the Everyone’s Talking! tour stop in San Jose, Mayday Parade slotted in as the second act, after The Cab and before headliners All Time Low, and delivered a set that proved their staying power in this pop-punk space. Backed by a loyal crowd at the San Jose Civic, they proved that even in a support slot they can hold their own.

They kicked off with “Under My Sweater,” the first single from Sad, their latest release and the second installment of a three-part album – Sweet, Sad, and Sugar. Following up with “Jersey,” a favorite from their 2007 debut album, A Lesson In Romantics, the tone was set: a room full of fans were ready to relive both nostalgia and new-era energy. After a mix of songs played from their discography, they ended the set with three fan favorites: “Oh Well, Oh Well” from their 2011 self-titled album, “Black Cat” from their debut album, and the perennial singalong “Jamie All Over.”

In the context of this tour, their set reminded us why Mayday Parade remain a cornerstone in the pop-punk landscape: they bring both the history and the momentum. Celebrating 20 years as a band, they showed that they’re not just looking back, they’re still very relevant, still full of purpose, and still capable of capturing a room.
