Chevelle brought their raw talent and energy to the stage at the Hard Rock Live in Wheatland, CA, on April 21, 2024, delivering a performance that solidified their status as one of the most underrated bands in rock today. For over two decades, brothers Pete Loeffler on guitar/vocals and Sam Loeffler on drums have been seamlessly blending hard rock, alternative metal, nu metal, and post-grunge anthems in a way that’s loved by fans around the world.
Described as a “kind of controlled chaos and gentle rampage, mixed of dark magnetism and gothic pop,” Chevelle has achieved multi-platinum and gold certifications with their eight studio albums, boasting seven number one hits. Their latest album, “Niratias,” released in March 2021, further solidifies their place in rock history.
Joining the brothers on tour, Kemble Walters on bass has an impressive portfolio in his own right from working with artists like Juliette Lewis, P!NK, and Dave Grohl, in addition to his role as guitarist and singer for the band AEGES.
Throughout the performance, Pete frequently interacted with his brother Sam, whose drums were positioned on an elevated platform, allowing fans to see and feel his powerhouse drumming firsthand. The lighting design played a crucial role in setting the mood and tempo of each song, enhancing the band’s dynamic performance.
With a 20-song setlist that included tracks like “Verruckt,” “The Red,” and “Mars Simula,” Chevelle kept the audience on their feet and fully engaged from start to finish. Pete’s presence was commanding as he frequently ventured to the edge of the stage, entertaining the crowd with his shredding guitar solos and powerful vocals.
With their tour set to continue throughout the summer with dates across the US, fans can expect more unforgettable performances from Chevelle in the months to come. For more information and tour news, visit www.getmorechevelle.com and follow @getmorechevelle on social media.
