On July 29, 2023, the iconic band Styx graced The Venue in Lincoln, CA, bringing the crowd out with their signature sound and captivating performance. The venue was packed to the brim with a devoted longtime fans, who eagerly awaited a night filled with rock and nostalgia.
With a lineup boasting talent from bandmembers Chuck Panozzo, James “J.Y.” Young, Tommy Shaw, Todd Sucherman, Lawrence Gowan, Ricky Phillips, and Will Evankovich, the crowd was in for a treat. The anticipation grew as the lights dimmed, and the thunderous applause echoed through the venue.
Styx has been a force in the rock music scene for decades, and their prowess was evident from the moment they took the stage. Drawing from their extensive discography, the band delivered a setlist that showcased both classic hits and newer material, treating the crowd to a journey through Styx’s musical evolution. They not only performed fan-favorites that have withstood the test of time but also introduced songs from recent releases.
